Cormorants Cove has recently had a complete refresh throughout, with a new kitchen and bathroom. Mahia is on the undiscovered east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Cormorants Cove is sitting on the top of a cliff with unimpeded views of Gisborne and surrounding beaches. Some of the best surf breaks are within 5 minutes drive and family friendly swimming beaches are just as close. This is the place to come to do absolutely nothing, but relax and soak up the sun and the views.

Our recently renovated home is easily located in a quiet side street off the main highway through Wairoa. The house is on a large section with room to play, close to the local restaurants and within walking distance of the main street, and local shops. An easy drive to the beautiful Mahia beach or Lake Waikaremoana. Whether you are on a family holiday or a business trip, your stay will be relaxing and comfortable with all the trimmings of a home away from home.

Mahia holiday home

Very spacious holiday home with uninterrupted breathtaking views. This stunning home captures fabulous morning sunrises and views over to Gisborne and the east coast. Plenty of extra space in the 2nd house for those larger group bookings. Large lawn area fit for parking cars and boats. More lawn space for running around, outdoor games and barbecues. You are surrounded by Swimming, Surfing, fishing, diving spots and nice walks along the beach right at your doorstep!

Queen BnB

Accomodation is located at the back of the section. There is a security camera monitoring the front driveway and road. The room is very compact cosy and private in a garden setting with a courtyard. My guests so far have told me the bed is very comfortable. There is a small step onto the unit veranda to access the room. I DONT allow children to stay as there is no room, as well as safety concerns, the room is not child proof. I provide milk tea and coffee.

Mahia Magic

Located 1 minute from the beach this cosy little cabin is perfect for your weekend away. Mahia Beach, Taylor’s Bay, the dairy, fishing club, Seaside Markets and Sunset Point Tavern are all within walking distance. The cabin has a little kitchen with a fridge, cooktop and microwave. There is also a BBQ located outside. Around the back is your own little bathroom with a shower and toilet. Come and check out all the beautiful Mahia Beach has to offer.

Mahia Bach

Located in the heart of popular Mahia Beach. This 3 bedroom holiday home is set up for the entire family to enjoy all year round. Fully exposed to the sun with a 90 square metre deck and plenty of room for backyard cricket and touch rugby. Just a short stroll to the local Sunset Point Bar and Bistro, Mahia Store, local playground and boat ramp. Perfect spot to enjoy sand castles at the beach, paddleboarding and hours of fun in the sea.

Mahia Heights Beach Views

Our home is on an elevated site, with lovely views down to the beach and the bay, and is a short walk to the sand. The guest suite is situated at one end of the house and comprises a bedroom, bathroom and a separate lounge room with its own private deck and entrance. The bedroom has a queen bed. Enjoy waking to the sound of the waves and the local bird life. Have breakfast on the deck while taking in the views.

One 4 The Contractors

Semi-Rural but 2 minutes from town 4 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms and a Donga. ..oh don't forget the fold out queen couch. Sleeps 7 - 10 ( 7+ if you plan on cuddling up) 2 bedrooms with king beds 1 bedroom with king single 1 bedroom with queen and king single Donga with a double Family friendly - but it’s a byo situation for the baby equipment. Smoking, Vaping and Drinking all okay on the deck.
