Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

Our apartments are very conveniently located, with short distances to the B17 and the A8. Several bus lines are within walking distance. Within walking distance there are some doctors, restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets. Some gyms, a bar, a fashion store and a library are also available. Swimming pool is in 10min. This cozy place will spend a great time. The layout of the rooms and the lovingly selected furnishings contribute to well-being. Regensburg with cathedral and historic old town, art and culture is just as close as Kelheim with Liberation Hall, Danube breakthrough and Weltenburg Monastery. Our little cottage is located in the middle of our horse farm where we also live. Here you live idyllically in nature and yet conveniently located. Quiet walks directly from the farm invite you to forays through nature. The proximity to Augsburg and Munich (each about 30 minutes away by car) is ideal for exploring the city. The small house has a small kitchen and a bathroom with sauna. A car is an advantage.
