During winter the house is also warm and cosy with floor heating. 4 canoes are available for you. Boats can be rented in the area, rental bikes delivered to the house. Free parking. Not suitable for non-swimmers.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1x 2 persons and 2x 1 person bed). There is another 5th bed (1 pers.) on the hall upstairs. Please let us know if you would like to use a sheet package (bedding & towels). Surcharge is €10,00 p.p. The renovated bathroom makes the cottage a luxurious place to enjoy the peace, space and nature.

Located on the sparkling clear waters of the Vinkeveense Plassen, you will find peace and fun for the whole family both in summer and winter. Explore the natural environment by boat, bicycle or walk. Paddle after the BBQ on your sup through the beautiful villa district and watch the sunset from the water. In the winter, you can sit by the fireplace with your warm chocolate and play board games. At the end of the day, plop down in the hanging chair in the sunny conservatory.

Having lovely experiences with faboulous guests as this summer and because a lot of people asking me to do it so their friends can come, my lovely boat will be remain to be rent. Be awared that the boat is divided into two units. Both of the boat units wil funtionate independently (with his own entrance, bedrooms, kitchen en bathroom).

The house is totally renovated. The garden is on the waterfront and the view is amazing! It's located on the best spot in Town. Just a 1 min walk to the famous harbour of Hoorn, and the historic city center is just a 3 min walk away. There you find the central square 'de Roode Steen' with all the bars and cosy restaurants.

Dijkcottage at the edge of the water

Located at the waters edge lies Dijkcottage. This 6-person thatched cottage offers plenty peace and quiet. The cottage includes a fenced garden, right on the water where you can catch fish. Dijkcottage is located on a park called 'De Poldertuin' and because of its location it provides complete privacy.
