Take a secret passageway to discover São Paulo art

Uncover art, culture, and architecture in a hidden downtown corridor with a local curator. Rendezvous Let's get together, get to know each other, and get ready to visit CCBB, one of São Paulo's most versatile art institutions, and its current exhibitions. From there, we'll take a quick stroll through the downtown area, to reach Galeria Prestes Maia, an underground passageway from the 40s, featuring a few works by some of Brazil's modernism greatest. We finish the tour by visiting the art studios of Formosa, a 50s building located in Anhangabaú, with four floors of ateliers and dozens of contemporary artists, so we can get in touch with their work and processes.

Cachaça Tour Paraty/ English

The Cachaça Tour Paraty is a journey through time with cachaça as the protagonist and its importance in the history of Brazil. The walking tour through the historic center of Paraty starts in front of Matriz Church(Our Lady of Remedies) where we start visiting 5 cachaçarias where we will tell the history of cachaça since the arrival of sugar in Brazil, how cachaça is made , the right way to drink, curiosities and, of course, tasting cachaça and liqueurs in each one of them, as well as discounts on the purchase of bottles and the famous Jorge Amado drink. Paraty, which for a long time was synonymous with cachaça, is now an international gastronomic hub, so tips from the most diverse restaurants for all tastes will be presented on the tour. The aim of the cachaça tour is to bring another story of our history while enjoying all the flavors that Paraty has to offer.

Tour in Santa Teresa and Selarón Staircase

In small groups, we'll take you on a tour of the Santa Teresa neighborhood, which is perched on a hilltop with wonderful bars, shops, and views of the city of Rio de Janeiro. We will reach the neighborhood on the famous Santa Teresa cable car. We will pass over the Arcos da Lapa, run all the way from the gondola to the end and get off at Largo dos Guimarães. From there we will continue on foot passing through bars, restaurants and shops and graffiti to Parque das Ruinas. We will then go down the Santa Teresa hill, until we reach the Selarón Staircase, built by the artist Jorge Selarón, famous for containing more than 200 steps with more than 2,000 tiles from more than 60 countries. We go to the staircase for photos and get to know a little bit about the life of your builder. IMPORTANT: For tours held in the afternoon, entry to the Santa Tereza cable car is subject to availability. If there are no more places on the cable car, we will take an Uber.

Immersive activity in the favela of Rocinha

- ROCINHA A great walk for those who want to get to know the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, not to mention the great cultural background. Rocinha, in addition to being the largest favela in Latin America, has the diversity of Ethnias, countless shops and social programs. Visiting points: - Municipal market - Appian Way (community food hub) - Largo do boiadeiro - Light walk between the alleys of the community (it lasts on average 15 minutes), so we have contact with the clusters of houses and it is possible to have an anthropological look of the region. - Street of the famous Baile Funk Setting for beautiful photos, the artist Malu Vibe restored the place with beautiful art in graffiti. ( there you can see up close the structure set up to receive speakers and attractions, as it will be during the day it is possible that there will be a presence of traffic and there is no danger at all; they are in favor of fostering tourism in the community, a reality that outside the community cannot see or imagine exists.) - If you are not interested in seeing this reality or being close to those individuals, we may remove that area from the route. - Motorcycle ride to Alto da Rocinha. - Laboriaux gazebo - Laje Lá bella vista - An instagrammable wall for great photos at Mirante Rocinha.
