The cabin borders directly to the hiking and high mountain terrain east behind the cabin. A great hiking terrain in the Silked Valley. Short distance to many fishing lakes and nice bathing areas. The area is known for good skiing conditions throughout the winter with 150 km of uphill cross-country ski trails, 18 lifts and 49 slopes. Shared lift pass and ski bus between the features.

Akebakker just outside the living room window and view to Ålsheia. Walk distance to most things. In this place, your family can live close to everything, the location is central. Newer cabin (2011) situated 960m above sea level in the mountains of Gausta. The cabin is situated with direct access to both skiing slopes, cross country skiing and trekking trails. From the cabin it´s also close to the newly built Sportellet hotel, restaurant, bar which is open all year. Stuga i hög standard med fantastisk utsikt över norska fjällvärden. Solrik stor altan varifrån du blickar över både Gaustatoppen och Hardangervidda. En av de hytter som ligger närmast Gaustatoppen så för att vandra går du direkt från hytten ut på fjället. Ski in/out och ca 200 meter till längdspåren och vandringsleder. Idealisk stuga för 2 familjer med två sovrum, kök, vardagsrum, hall och badrum på nedervåning och 2 sovrum, toalett och allrum (med Bäddsoffa och TV) på ovanvåningen.

New cottage in the middle of the hill with slalom slopes, cross-country trails and top hikes outside house. Nice views of Gaustatoppen and Hardangervidda in scenic area with hiking trails and hiking. The cottage is excellent for couples, families with children, skiers, outdoor enthusiasts and life lovers. Also includes sauna. Private parking with electric car charger available right next to the cabin (charging will be charged separately).
