Planterosa is within 1 mile of the Appalachian Trail and Route #76 Biking Trail. Located in the East Coast Mountain Biking Capital Corridor of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's nestled on 4+ acres near the Town of Troutville, a designated Appalachian Trail Community. The suite is attached to my house. Not available for monthly rental.

Our property is 150 acres total, off the last end-state maintenance road in the county, though just a 20 minute drive off interstate 81, or to the quaint town of Floyd, or the Virginia Tech area. This one is a 24' yurt, beautifully modern with a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom and steam-sauna shower, TV and (high speed) wi-fi, and comfortable sleeping and hangout spaces- surrounded by 150 acres of streams, trails and natural beauty. To reach airport in 10 mins. Exploring the downtown Roanoke and Main Street of Salem in short distance too. Hollins Univ. and Roanoke College are both around 4 miles away.
