Apartamentul este situat chiar în satul Gura Râului, un sat tradițional al Mărginimii Sibiului, pe o stradă liniștită. Este foarte aproape de orașul Sibiu (aprox. 15 km) cât și de alte sate tradiționale. Aflat la poalele Munților Cindel, Gura Râului este un loc deosebit pe care Lucian Blaga l-a numit "satul lui de suflet".
