The house is a relaxing Oasis in the city. The backyard has a gas Fireplace, cedar pergola and pool house with changing room. There is a natural gas grill and heated shower. The pool and hotub with another large firepit feature with seating. You really must see to appreciate this 5 star private backyard.

Our first project was an off-grid cabin featured on DIY Network’s Building Off The Grid. We took inspiration from that design to transform The Lookout into the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the lake. Located just 3 miles off I70, and walking distance to neighborhood favorite Papa Boos.

My wife and I bought this house at a sheriff sale. We didn’t buy it with our brain, we bought it with our heart. “How stupid was that” We couldn’t continue to watch this unique house continue its march toward too far gone to fix.
