Every little detail has been thought of, luxury bed linens and complimentary robes, TVs in both lounge and bedroom, two person bath and full kitchen. Nestled into a private corner of reserve just a short walk to both Waihi Beach and Anzac Bay the Barn is surrounded by trees and has its own private entrance and courtyard with lounging chairs, outdoor shower and BBQ.

Equestrians, you can arrange to bring your horse, ride in our arena or on nearby stunning Uretiti beach. If you'd like to bring your friendly dog, we can accommodate your furry friends. It is a great get away for couples wanting a romantic getaway on the Kapiti Coast. If the sky’s are clear this is a great location for night photography. There's a tripod for your phone as well as binoculars to view the constellations from the comfort of a patio moon chair & blanket. There is a sauna, and the swimming pool is solar heated through summer.

Southwind Barn

Southwind Barn is situated on our 14 acre lifestyle farm. The barn has recently been decorated with a rustic western cowboy style. This unique accommodation is only 5 minutes drive (5km) from Wanaka township, and is the perfect place to relax, or use as a base for some Wanaka “adventures”. All rooms look out onto a private garden area with views of the mountains. The barn is situated close to the paddocks so you will enjoy seeing the sheep, lambs, and calf wandering by.
