The cottage ( Fridhem), which was originally a baker's cottage, was moved from a small village to the current location in the 50s, when it was also converted to the current house. The cottage is located by road 2, midway between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, about 5 km each way. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn.
