The Blacksmith's Workshop

In ancient times the house was the laboratory of a blacksmith with his small adjacent house. Recently renovated in a contemporary key, it has become a two-storey residence of about 80 square meters. On the ground floor is the living area with the dining table, kitchen, amenities and a wine pantry, reachable by a wooden staircase with staggered steps. A second staircase in black iron leads to the mezzanine where the study is organized. The balustrade becomes the worktop and overlooks from the double height. On the first floor are the two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The floors are made of resin concrete and part with tiles in reclaimed cement paste; the upper floor is finished with parquet. Particular are the vintage furnishings, the lighting of the rooms and the contemporary art paintings of a young Sicilian artist-designer. The house is equipped with winter and summer air conditioning, wifi, TV and dishwasher. Just a few kilometres away is Porto Palo beach (Blue Flag) with boat trips, ultra-light flights and bike rentals. Nearby, less than a 25-minute drive, you can play golf at the gorgeous Golf Verdura Resort.
