Your home away from home

Welcome home to our farm. We offer a cottage from the 1960s-70s on our property. The main house is right next door, where we with our 2 children and 6 dogs live. We are outdoor people who devote a lot to hunting, fishing, dogs and forest life. If you are interested in that, you have ended up on the right property to talk about it. We live 10 km from Kiruna city center and 3 km from the ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi. Great location if you are looking for tranquility and nature at the same time, it is quick and easy to get to the city.

PLEASE NOTE: reindeers arrive approximately in mid december to april depending on the weather. Nov/early dec reindeer is not guaranteed, therefore lower price during these dates. Sleep under the stars and the dancing aurora lights in this rare cone! In the daytime cuddle with our friendly reindeers (meet and greet/feeding included in your stay!) and after a long day out in the cold, take a time out in our traditional wood fired sauna. Welcome to our home! 70 m2 apartment on the second floor of our house has well equipped open kitchen/living area, bathroom with shower and lots of space for toiletries, an inviting hallway with lots of storage and shoe dryer, one very big bedroom with 4 single beds ( 90 cm x 200 cm) and one queen bed (160 cm x 200 cm) in a nook, separated with curtain from the living area. Unwind in this unique and quiet home with proximity to both the forest and the beautiful Torne river. Two km from the cottages there is a swimming area with a sandy beach. It is six kilometers to the village of Jukkasjärvi where the famous ice hotel is located. There is also a grocery store and old historical buildings such as 400 year old church, homestead with food service as well as the possibility of fishing trips along the Torneälven river and other tourist activities.

Perfect to see midnight sun in summer and northern lights in winter. Peace and relaxation. Nice sauna can be rented for 600 sek - needs to be booked in advance. Own car or rental car is required. Or transport by taxi. No bus connection available. Nearest grocery store is in Kiruna C (15 km) or in Jukkasjärvi (10 km).
