Barcaldine Caravan Park offers studio ensuite cabins that are family and pet friendly. Each cabin is equipped with a kitchenette including plates, crockery and cutlery. There is also a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric frypan, and a shared BBQ outside. Your room includes a small dining table and chairs outside on the patio. Smoking is permitted outside only. The room has one double bed & one single bed, additional single mattresses are available upon request (free of charge).

VG’s BnB

VG was our Dad, and this was his home. Dad loved to have visitors and there was always someone calling in and staying overnight. It was hard to keep up sometimes. He was a people person and committed a great portion of his life serving the people of Queensland but most particularly the people of Western Qld. We knew that Dad's home would be the perfect place for visitors to rest for a while and plan their next adventure. We hope you enjoy our little slice of paradise in the Longreach Region.

Located near the hospital and high school. Enjoy a lovely stay in this newly renovated cottage which combines both modern style with an old school charm. Whether you are enjoying the glorious sunsets from the front porch or relaxing after a long day of sight seeing, this has it all. The cottage can sleep six comfortably with new queen beds and a fold out lounge, as well as new split systems throughout the property to satisfy on those hot days. We do not have disable access facilities at this stage. Individual private bathrooms (not en-suited), kitchen and laundry at the quarters. Each room has its own air-conditioning. Authentic, traditional shearing quarters within walking distance to homestead and private airstrip.

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located house. It is a short stroll to the Botanical Walkway that connects the centre of town to Longreach’s most visited attractions. Falcon Street is only three blocks from the Main Street, making it an easy walk to cafes, restaurants and specialty shops. You can also light up the Weber and enjoy a BBQ in the relaxing tree shaded entertainment area.
