Beach Pod - Waikawa Beach -North Island

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one of a kind. This tiny home started out as the Koru Valet Parking Office at the Wellington Airport. It took 3 trucks, 2 hiabs and 3 pilots to transport the building to Waikawa Beach. Originally, it was used as a holiday beach hut, but we decided to make it a holiday home and put in a kitchen space, toilet, and shower. We lived here for 7 months until our house was complete. The Pod has been totally renovated, waiting for guests to enjoy.

Frankie's place

We have the perfect spot for resting on your way to or from Wellington. You will stay amongst the fruit trees. The birdlife is great. Our tiny home is on our section 20mtrs from our house. You have your own separate entrance & parking space. we are 5 min north of Otaki, 10 min from Levin & Waikawa Beach . The Manakau Market & The Greenery garden centre are close. We are a family of five and especially in summer we spend a lot of time outside so expect the normal sounds of family life.

Come away to The Cottage

Take it easy at this unique getaway. While we are on State Highway 1, we have a great little cottage here where you can relax and let the world go by and enjoy not being a part of the hustle and bustle out on the busy roads . The cottage is cosy, has a fire to warm the place, double glazing, and a lovely outlook. A deck to relax on in the sun and large grass space to drag the chairs out onto if you want to. The spa will definitely help the worries disappear. We hope you will be blessed.

Kotare Cottage is tucked away in a peaceful rural setting, close to the Ohau River and to Kuku Beach but only 10 mins drive to Levin township. Out of the kitchen and dining room windows are expansive views of the Tararua Ranges, catching the early morning sun and late afternoon sun from the deck and the lounge windows. It is an open plan 2 bedroom cottage with a log fire for the cooler evenings. There is a full kitchen, separate toilet and bathroom with large shower.

Nestled off the main road down a long driveway, this quiet warm 2 bedroom home has ample parking, heating, great cooking and eating facilities. Very family friendly with huge back yard to play around, 3-5 min walk to the playground and the beach is mere 5 min walk away. Foxton Beach has superb facilities like cafes and resteraunts. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful coast life.
