Enjoy a dreamy sleep with hotel-quality linen, feather & 'Bliss' pillows, blackout curtains, privacy sheers & aircon. Plush robes, eco slippers, and Ashley & Co body care products add a touch of luxury. The ensuite features a spacious walk-in shower with travertine and slate tiles.

Unwind in the 24-hour hot tub or refresh in the outdoor heated shower beneath the palms – perfect for stargazing.

The glasshouse offers a cosy retreat with a 55 inch smart TV with Google TV & Chromecast, fireplace, books, board games, and an art kit – ideal for a unique experience day or night.

Relax on your private balcony, a peaceful spot to start your morning with freshly brewed coffee. A work desk, digital entry, in-room safe, and on-site parking ensure both comfort and convenience.

The shared outdoor common areas are available 24/7 and include the hot tub, outdoor heated shower, glasshouse and garden. We prioritise guest privacy when using these facilities.

Both the main home and guest suite have their own separate digital door entry. Please note, access to the main home is not available. Limited kitchen and laundry access in the main home may be arranged by prior request, subject to availability and additional charges.

The guest suite is attached by one wall to the main house, designed to offer privacy and positioned away from the hosts main living and outdoor areas, ensuring a peaceful retreat.

Other things to note
Te Kawa guest suite has its own digital door entry and is attached to the main house where we – your hosts, Rose and Terryn – live with our young family, cats, and goldfish. Our two friendly, hypoallergenic La Perm cats, Rover and Scout, love to greet guests.

Rest assured, your privacy is our priority, and we encourage you to make yourselves at home and enjoy your stay as if we weren’t even there.

A TV with Chromecast is available in the glasshouse, but there is no TV in the guest suite itself. Bring your streaming passwords (Netflix, Apple TV, Spotify, etc.) to connect to your favourite entertainment.

Please note, there is no microwave and cooking facilities are not available. The coffee and tea station provides the convenience of enjoying hot drinks, and the mini fridge is available for storing snacks and drinks. Cooking or heating food in the guest suite with a portable cooker or microwave is not permitted.

Uber Eats is a popular and reliable option for delivered meals, which you can enjoy in your room, on the balcony, or in the glasshouse. Plates and cutlery are provided, and additional serving-ware can be arranged on request, subject to availability.
