The space
The house is nestled stone-throw away from Lake Rotorua with the lakeside walkway and a bike trail directly across the road. There's more! A playground and a boat ramp are just a few minutes walk away. And a picnic by the lake makes a family-friendly and an enjoyable get-together!

Your holiday will surely be a relaxing one when you stay with us as we provide a cozy, safe and ample space for a family or a group of up to 6 guests. It's conveniently located close to essential shops and friendly, prompt assistance is available should you need anything to make your stay as seamless as possible.

We provide Board games and cards to enjoy during quiet evenings. We also have Air hockey & Foosball table plus a basketball shooting arcade in the garage area if you're up for the challenge! Oh, and did we mention the Spa Pool!

Cozy Lake Retreat sits in the peaceful Hamurana community on the northern shore of Lake Rotorua, directly across the road from a lakeside walkway and bike trail - a lovely spot for a leisurely stroll, a ride or a quiet sunset, with a playground and boat ramp a short walk along the lake. Just two minutes up the road is Hamurana Springs, home to one of New Zealand's largest natural springs and a beautiful grove of redwoods with gentle walking tracks. For a meal, a coffee or an evening drink, the much-loved Okere Falls Store and its craft beer garden is about 15 minutes away, and Ngongotaha village has everyday essentials a short drive south. Skyline's gondola and luge, Canopy Tours and Zorb are around 12 minutes away, with the lakefront hot pools at Polynesian Spa and Wai Ariki Spa, Te Puia and the Redwoods Forest all a comfortable drive on - relaxation and adventure in easy reach.
