The Old Painter‘s House, Ferienhaus am Wasser

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

From our apartment, you are on the water within minutes. 10 minutes drive to the Timmeler Meer or about 40 minutes to the North Sea.  For shopping excursions and sightseeing in 15 minutes in the historic old town of Leer (East Frisia). Available are two bedrooms for 2 persons each and a sofa bed for also 2 people in the living room.  Also in the spacious garden,you can enjoy the holiday.

The apartment is centrally located and at the same time quiet in a rear building on the dam. The city center, the castle, the green castle garden and the beautiful canal are all within 5 minutes walking distance.

Getaway in the countryside

This quaint apartment invites you to relax and enjoy. In the middle of the countryside next to a cow meadow, it is best to unwind. The area can be explored on foot or by bike. On cold days, you can cozy up in front of the pellet stove. The cities of Leer and Papenburg are located in the area and invite you to stroll, shop or visit a restaurant.
