A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The interior was completely renovated in 2024. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. Privately owned small cottage next to the Atlantic Ocean with great view over the mountains. A Perfect location to see the Northern Lights during the wintertime (if conditions are optimal). The place is just outside Town of Borganes (7-8 km) where you can find a discount store. Interesting places nearby are Langjökull, Barnafossar, Deildartunguhver (hot spring) and Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Also short drive to Reykjavik (80 km) and Golden Circle (100 km).

Eyri seaside houses north, with great sea view.

Eyri seaside houses is a cozy, warm and brand new guesthouse with a great ocean view, located on our small horse farm. We are located at Hvammstangi but still super private and the only thing you see from the apartments are the ocean and landscape. There are a lot of birds at the beach and there is even a chance that you will see some seals. Every now and then we get some whales in the fjord but it has to be your lucky day to see them.

The cottage is close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. The cottage although small is ideal for 2-4 person. It´s well equipped and has a private hot tub on the veranda, where you can soak while enjoying the view. There is no light polution like in Reykjavik and towns so this place is ideal for watching the Northern Lights.

Beautiful house just 50 m from the sea

There are six sleeping places in the house. Two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two single beds. Sleeping couch, double, is in the living room. Kitchen is with all normal utilities. With a dishwasher and extra large fridge Living room and dining room are in the same space. Door from the living room is out to the terrace.
