"The Smokehouse" is a small cabin located on the 5 acre, "A Country Place". It is out in the country but only about 5 minutes to town. The cabin has a living/dinning/kitchen combined area and a separate bedroom and full bathroom. The front porch has rocking chairs to enjoy watching the deer and other wildlife while the back patio has a private hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill and outdoor dinning. Welcome to Vesper Lodge. Nestled in the rugged Texas land of Wimberley with the prettiest view. The lodge has been lovingly restored to be comfortably chic. Spacious enough for a large group but charming for a writer's solitude. The sunsets and night skies are what drew us here. They bring pink-cotton-candy clouds. Then the sun crowns the valley hills in mauve until the stars begin to make themselves visible. Slowly, a few at a time, until the entire sky is covered in brilliant stardust.
