Rustic Retreat

Beautiful sunsets, relaxing atmosphere, and plenty of open space. Just a few miles outside of Titusville, this newly renovated one bedroom home offers a peaceful place to stay. The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a king bed, and a pullout sofa in the living room. A fire pit, firewood, and six Adirondack chairs are available for use in a private area behind the house. There is a large backyard with trails through the woods and around the field for guests to explore.

The cabin is located in an area only accessible via dirt roads. It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you! This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.

Welcome to our hideaway in the hollow! Peacefully nestled 10 minutes off Route 322 in Millerstown, with easy access to Harrisburg or State college in under an hour. Surrounded by many outdoor activities to choose from including kayaking, hiking at state parks, and only 20 minutes from the Port Royal Speedway. Close access for wedding guests going to Sweet Water Springs Farm. We hope you enjoy our newly renovated space and screened in porch during your getaway!

White Pine Cottage has all the modern amenities you want in a location that's convenient to everything ANF, Cook Forest, Clear Creek State Park, and the Clarion River have to offer. Check us out on FB/IG @whitepinecottage560 The cottage does not have WiFi, however Verizon cell phone reception is good in the area. Other wireless providers may be unreliable. During the winter months we highly recommend using vehicles with 4WD/AWD to access the property.
