We've created a vision for this property with renovated 90-year-old historic structures to create sustainable, environmental friendly spaces with rainwater harvesting, solar energy, electric solar-powered car charger. This renovated adobe casita is the 2nd structure after our main house. The 3rd is a smaller rental called Yucca Casita. We are within 2 blocks of the historic Mesilla plaza with its farmers market, shops, galleries, restaurants, and walking trails along historic acequias (canals).

Sunny two bedroom one bath house on a quiet tree lined street in Mesilla Park. Enjoy this peaceful retreat close to everything. Conveniently located near the Mesilla Plaza, NMSU, and the Convention Center. Refrigerated air set up on the Nest system. The house has internet access. The wood floors, sash windows and front screen porch give this house the character we fell in love with. We've tried to decorate it to feel like home, and provide all the amenities you might need while you're staying.

This unique place has an ambiance all its own. Located a few minute drive from historic old Mesilla and walking distance to a local coffee shop, Mexican restaurant, and a pizza restaurant. Mesilla plaza, and bars are only a few minutes drive away. The building is fully renovated with stainless steel new appliances and dual refrigerated air mini splits, one in the living room, and one in the bedroom. Please note there is a train that occasionally travels near the neighborhood.

"Casa de Maíz" is a quaint home close to New Mexico State University, the Las Cruces Convention Center, and has access to downtown and Historic Mesilla. The home is in a quiet neighborhood close to a park where you can take your children or your dog(s). The home is a perfect stop on a cross-country trip or a place for temporary housing. Beautiful, private casita built in the 1930's one block from the plaza. Historic charm with modern conveniences. Perfect for quiet retreat. Fenced flagstone patio in back yard fully equipped with gas grill, outdoor fireplace, outdoor dining area and french doors opening from the house. Large front yard fully enclosed. Full front porch creates shade for chair. This house is peaceful but just steps from the fiestas and activities on the historical Mesilla Plaza.
