I hope to receive many wine lovers who want to have a unique wine and olive oil experience. Welcome drink on arrival, followed by a lesson on wine, visit to the 1620 winery, walk in the garden and among the vineyards and olive groves and finally rich wine tasting and good homemade food served in an enchanting place that you will love. Depending on the season it is possible to view the work in the vineyard or in the cellar. April and May you will see the small bunches of grapes; in September and October we will witness the harvest; between December and March we prune the vines and press the dried grapes for the Vino Santo. In November we harvest the olives. Between June and August you can have unforgettable tastings at sunset. In summer you can make beautiful visits to the vineyards and maybe you can help bottle the wine. On some days of the year it is also possible to taste the wines from the barrels with our winemaker who, upon request, will explain the secrets of winemaking to you. If you love balsamic vinegar we will let you know its history. You will also discover the incredible flavors of white truffle infused in our extra virgin olive oil. Family Wine Tasting Experience in Chianti
When all the people of the Group arrive at the winery, they have to know each other to create the right atmosphere and friendship and i'll explain how consist the wine-experience. I'll explain how we work organically and how we produce excellent grapes. After you'll discover different cellars, The Vinsantaia, the place where the Vinsanto (dessert wine) is made, La Tinaia where the Chianti DOCG and SuperTuscan ferment and the last is the Barriccaia, a 200 years old cellar totally underground, where the wine age in french oak barrell. At the end you'll taste 5 different wines with typical salami, prosciutto, pecorino cheese, bruschetta with EVO oil from our organic garden and cantucci biscuits made by my mum. If you have any food restrictions/allergy, please let me know in advance. You'll jump into the journey of a professional winemaker. You'll be full involved in the wine-experience, lots of information and at the end of the experience you have lots of great memories, good knowledge about wines and lots of smile on your face. Hunt for truffles in the Tuscan woods
My family, my dog, Billo ,and I will guide you in truffle hunting in our beautiful woods in Chianti. Truffle hunting is an ancient tradition in Tuscany, and has only one rule—respect nature. For this reason, it will be necessary to conduct a small briefing before going into the woods, a sacred place for truffle hunters. During the hunt, I will tell you about the truffle, the magic of its traditions, its history, mythology, and uses in the kitchen. You will learn how to recognize and distinguish a good truffle from other fake "truffles" of inferior quality. After the hunt, we will return home for a scheduled lunch or dinner, based on fresh, real truffles and served with our own wine and extra virgin olive oil. We will show you how to clean truffles and prepare typical truffle recipes, such as crostini al tartufo, tagliatelle al tartufo, and more.
THE FUNKY FRESH PASTA EXPERIENCE
In the kitchen of a charming and artistic apartment of my friends right on the promenade of the city, two steps from the iconic Terrazza Mascagni, you will craft the traditional art of home made fresh pasta making with an innovative and funky twist that will allow you to create amazing fresh pasta dishes, fabulous to taste and wonderful to see (and show to friends)! We will create 3 different kinds of pasta with different textures and you will have the chance taste 1 of them with a glass of local red wine. Katia and Fulvio welcome you to their family county house. We'll lead together a Tuscan cooking class, so you can learn traditional Tuscan recipes, but more important you will discover how food should really taste! Try Scuba Diving
The activity is an introduction to scuba diving. A quick but explanatory lesson will be held on the techniques for diving with cylinders and all the safety concepts. Subsequently the necessary equipment will be provided. The material will be tested and studied, finally there will be a boat trip to reach one of the most beautiful diving areas of the island (inside the National Park) to perform a real dive together 1 to 1 by an experienced diving instructor. The excitement of breathing underwater, the beauty of the environment and marine life that you encounter will make this experience unique. Other things to note No previous diving experience is necessary, just knowing how to swim even at the basic level and not having any particular physical or health problems that are not compatible with a water sport.
Vinyasa Yoga Class - Lezione di Yoga
You will practice Yoga (Vinyasa Flow). Vinyasa represents the connection with breath and movement. Through the sun salutations, we will flow into both easy and challenging asanas; I strongly believe in adjustments and assists. During the practice, you will have space also for Pranayama (breath tecniques) and meditation. After the yoga class, you are welcome to join our light and fresh breakfast under the olive trees. If you would like to stay longer, you can enjoy the private spot on the rocks for a swim or just relax. Chef for a day on a magical terrace in Chianti
Guests will be able to write all the recipes in their kitchenbook, then we will start together to complete the dish, each one creates their own dish and finally we will eat together on a charming terrace over the Chianti surrounded by nature and art.
FOUR WINES TASTING IN TRUE CHIANTI FARM
Guests will arrive at our place, where they will be welcomed by myself or by one of our family member. The experience will start with the cellars tour, during which we will explain our company history and what we produce today and we will explain the wine-making processes and production while showing our machineries and barrels. After that the wine-tasting is starting: we have a large wine-tasting room dedicated, where the guests can sit at tables. They will taste 4 wines (2 IGT Toscana wines, 1 Chianti Classico and 1 Chianti Classico RISERVA): for each wine we are explaining how it is composed and its flavours and so on ... The wine tasting is accompanied by typical Tuscan crackers. It is possible eventually to make a short walk in our vineyards. Extra food/wines/liquors/spirits may be added paying an extra fee.
