At the eco farm Skiaxtro, close to the sea, at the edge of the Messinian plain olive groves, we prepare soaps and herbal cosmetics using extra virgin olive oil, pure beewax as well as other natural and handmade materials. We start our experience with a tour of the farm. We learn about the olive tree and the excellent olive oil it produces. Later, we get to know the herbs with their properties, and then in the shade of the trees we use them to make our own soaps, beewax ointments, water based creams and other valuable herbal cosmetics for the care of our body. It is a ritual in the scents of nature. At the end of the workshop each participant takes away gifts from our creations.

During the tour, you will have the chance to hear all about the production of Greece’s 'liquid gold', from harvesting to storing, directly from the producers. Get ready for a wonderful trip to the world of the blessed olive tree and olive oil. Within the endless Μessinian olive grove, together, we will discover all the myths and the facts around the liquid gold of the Mediterranean. We will make a tour in the estate amongst the olive trees (each of one has an ancient greek name!), we will learn about their history and get to know all the details for the harvest of the fruit up to the production of the olive oil. We will see the harvesting tools, we will lay nets, we will see how the tools work and (provided the experience takes place after mid autumn) we can harvest. Then we will sit in the large dining room under the shade of the pine trees to continue our journey tasting the olive oil. We will get to know how to recognize an extra virgin olive oil. We will learn about the contribution of olive oil to the Mediterranean diet and of course we will close the experience with delicious appetizers based on olive products and local wines. Upon leaving, guests will receive a souvenir basket with handmade olive products: olive oil, olives, soap and beewax cream.

Θα μιλησουμε για τον θαυμαστό κόσμο της μέλισσας, την απίστευτα οργανωμένη κοινωνία της και τα πέρα από κάθε φαντασία χαρακτηριστικά της, ενώ θα παρατηρούμε τον μικρόκοσμό της φορώντας στολές και ανοίγοντας πραγματικές κυψέλες σε ένα κτήμα όπου βρίσκεται ένα πραγματικό μελισσοκομείο! Θα δούμε και θα παρατηρήσουμε τις μέλισσες και την εσωτερική τους οργάνωση, την γύρη, το μέλι, την πρόπολη, τον γόνο αλλά και τα είδη των μελισσών, την βασίλισσα, τις εργάτριες, τους κηφήνες και τον ρόλο τους μέσα στην κυψέλη! Θα κάνουμε ο,τι χρειάζεται ανάλογα με την εποχή για να βοηθήσουμε τις μελισσες, όπως ένας μελισσοκομος! Ύστερα, σε μια γραφική παραδοσιακή αυλή του αρχαίου χωριού, θα φάμε φρέσκους λουκουμάδες δοκιμάζοντας τα διαφορετικά είδη μελιού και μιλώντας για την προέλευσή τους, τον τρόπο που συλλέγουν το καθένα οι μέλισσες και τα χαρακτηριστικά τους! Θα δούμε και θα εξηγήσουμε τα σύνεργα του μελισσοκόμου, το μηχάνημα εξαγωγής του μελιού και τον τρόπο που εξάγει το μέλι από τις κηρήθρες! Θα περπατήσουμε σε έναν πανέμορφο δρόμο στην φύση, πίσω ακριβώς από τον αρχαιολογικό χώρο των Μυκηνών, θα μιλήσουμε για το μελι και την ζωή των αρχαίων Μυκηναίων, θα παρατηρήσουμε και θα κόψουμε ρίγανη, θυμάρι και αλλά μελισσοκομικά φυτά! The workshop is located at Skiaxtro Eco Farm, a beautiful estate at southwest Peloponnese. In a cozy and airy place we create together unique and wonderful handcrafts! I provide a big variety of materials, such as driftwood, old metallic elements, screws, ropes, canvas, pebbles, beads and much more, most of them found at nearby beaches. Combining them you can create your own piece of art: decorative and useful designs, boats, frames and jewellery are amongst the various choices. You' ll visit the exhibition of my workshop and choose through the items your design concept. I will provide you with the required materials and the appropriate tools. Under my supervision and guidance we will move on until the completion of your creations. The purpose is the crafting of beautiful objects from inexpensive materials. We recycle and use materials thrown away, considered old and useless or just found at a beach. You will give new life into them so they become once again fanciful belongings. Other things to note The workshop takes place under pines. Also there are animals in the estate, dogs (confined) and cats. If somebody is allergic they have to let us know.

We will be able to admire breathtaking views of the Saronic Gulf .Our exploration will take place between forests, lava stones , uphill and downhill.You will have leisure time at your disposal ,therefore you will be able to create unforgettable memories and take some nice shots. We welcome you at our meeting spot point in Galatas(we can pick you up everywhere in Galatas).Then we take you on a 4x4 drive towards Ermioni and Porto Heli for approximately 45 minutes. During the drive, you will be able to indulge into scenic views of the Saronic Gulf and its islands. We will visit the famous marble stone beach in Costa. We will visit one more beach at the most famous area in Porto Heli , between pines and luxurious houses. Agios Aimilianos is the most expensive area in Greece and many kings and actors have houses there.

Our trip starts from Kardamyli’s old harbor, the place we meet. The activity includes 30 min preparation time, 2-2,5 hours paddling exploration 1 hour break for rest,swimming and snorkeling. Before departure, we brief you on trip details, kayak paddling techniques and safety measures. Soon we get into our kayaks and begin a coastal exploration at a relaxed paddling pace. Each little cove hides a special surprise such as hidden sea caves, rock gardens, cliffs with spectacular formation, hidden sandy and pebble beaches. One of the top attractions of this trip is a visit to the Blue Cave. A spectacular natural phenomenon where sunlight passing through a crack in the cave reflects on the sea floor and bathes the entire cave in aquamarine light. A swim into the cave is a must do and a lifetime experience. Weather and time permitting we may head to Stoupa for a stop at the beach of Kalogria with its fine golden sand and turquoise waters. Halfway we make a relaxing stop for swimming, snorkeling and rest. Once the lunch stop is over we paddle back to the starting point to end an adventurous day spent in the coastline of the Mani. Other things to note The Seakayaking in Kardamyli trip is suitable for everyone, beginners and families . We keep a stable and comfortable paddling pace and there's sufficient rest time during our stops.

Throughout our walks, we approach different sights according the level of difficulty, the needs and the desires of the team! We make sure that the choice suits you! Number one natural sight of Aegina, the Ancient Olive Grove (Eleonas) stands out, on the west, with a plus visit at the village of Pachia Rachi! Above it, the highest top, Mount Ellanion, boasting the remnants of Zeus temple next to a byzantine church! Moving central, the Monastery of Panagia Chrysoleontissa approachable by a scenic circular path! Or a beautiful hike among pine trees discovering old villages. On the north, the byzantine castle city of Palia Chora, plus a possible visit to the Monastery of Saint-Nektarios. Moving South, the village of Perdika, for a round walk including the area of the old bunkers, or heading straight up to Sfentouri area to the Dragon Houses for a panoramic view. Philosophy for me is...to walk and talk!! It's a mythological tour, like...going into a time macchine, abandoning in this mythological narrative living path...experiencing it as a representation ! So...from the springs of Ancient Lerna (now Myloi) to the river delta. Where ''Lerna Hydra'' was living...a huge snake with nine heads. This snake was causing huge damage to the area. Only Hercules (the second legendary Labour of the 12) was able to kill it. What was going on, in the position of each head cutting by Hercules, two more were falling out. So he thought that when he was cutting each head to burn immediatly it with fire and came out no more. That's how the legend stayed! Then from this mythological river of Ancient Lerna we will walk...to visti the older harbor with the lighthouse ...a huge trading hub from the 1889, to Argolikos, the Aegean and the Mediterranean! Then moving towards it the most famous Greek railway Station in the Peloponnese and in Greece... the old Mill Station since 1882...with trains and engines machines, charcoal pumping stations...as ever! An outdoor museum, in essence!!! Finally, we will end up at the older house of Myloi (stone made by my bis grandfather in 1806) the CASA LELA, to enjoy the worthy chef Antonella (my wife) variety with Ouzo.
