Yurt Nestled in Nature

Nestled in the trees on a large deck with the sounds of birds and squirrels all around, this unique structure spans 15 ft across with 14 triangular sides. It holds a double bed, dining table, rocking chair, 3 burner stove, sink with water, full kitchenette and all the cooking utensils you need. The wood stove keeps the space very warm and cozy and we offer professional massage and reiki. You can walk, ski or bike for hours along a river. Or visit towering gypsum cliffs that host huge bat caves.

The Little Sky Yurt at Cabot Shores

The Sky Yurt comes with a double bed, skylight and chairs for your deck. Shared bathrooms are located a short distance away. Close by are picnic tables & a fire pit. We are located on the Cabot Trail, about 40 minutes from the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Many guests choose us as a homebase for exploring the region. We rent kayaks, canoes & paddle boards as well as hot tubs and have a bistro on site. Hot tub is available to rent for an additional fee (must reserve 24 hours in advance).

On clear nights you can open the canvas roof and see stars through the skylight. There is a hot tub on the deck which can be rented for an additional fee. You can find showers and bathroom across from this yurt in the Bath House. This yurt has electricity for lamps and electric heater. There is a wood stove. It is pet-friendly.

Get cozy and settle in to this rustic space. The Yurt is technically off-grid, but we do have wifi ! The yurt is heated by a wood stove where you can enjoy the ambience through the glass door. The stove keeps the yurt very nice and warm, even on cold winter nights. A kitchenette allows the basics needed. There is a comfortable queen sized bed and even a hammock for lounging in! Unwind in this glamping experience while being close to all lunenburg has to offer.
