Situated on top of a huge escarpment, the medieval village of Marvão offers those who visit a breathtaking landscape. Entering the village through the Portas de Ródão and looking ahead on the right, the visitor comes across the Casa da Silveirinha. Framed, on the one hand, by the fragrances that lead to the Castle and, on the other, by the immensity of the surrounding landscape, the House provides to those who rest on it the feeling of retreating in time and becoming guardian of the entrance to the village.

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

Mamede Natural Park, next to small village Escusa, in a lovely valley between the must-see villages of Castelo de Vide and Marvão. Small modern lodge in a week-end farm. For bookings during pool season farm’s main house is not used by the owner. Sun, shade, diving, resting, reading and walking. Breathing fresh air and sleeping better. Also great for remote work. Possible laundry service.
