The Blacksmith's Workshop

In ancient times the house was the laboratory of a blacksmith with his small adjacent house. Recently renovated in a contemporary key, it has become a two-storey residence of about 80 square meters. On the ground floor is the living area with the dining table, kitchen, amenities and a wine pantry, reachable by a wooden staircase with staggered steps. A second staircase in black iron leads to the mezzanine where the study is organized. The balustrade becomes the worktop and overlooks from the double height. On the first floor are the two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The floors are made of resin concrete and part with tiles in reclaimed cement paste; the upper floor is finished with parquet. Particular are the vintage furnishings, the lighting of the rooms and the contemporary art paintings of a young Sicilian artist-designer. The house is equipped with winter and summer air conditioning, wifi, TV and dishwasher. Just a few kilometres away is Porto Palo beach (Blue Flag) with boat trips, ultra-light flights and bike rentals. Nearby, less than a 25-minute drive, you can play golf at the gorgeous Golf Verdura Resort. The most important archaeological sites of Sicily are easily accessible: Selinunte (15 minutes), Cave di Cusa (25 minutes), Segesta (45 minutes), Eraclea Minoa (40 minutes) and Agrigento and "Scala dei Turchi" (50 minutes) To visit: the city of Sciacca, Sambuca di Sicilia (Italy's most beautiful village 2016), the Tomasi di Lampedusa Literary Park in Santa Margherita (15 minutes), the “Cretto di Burri" in Gibellina (30 minutes), the Stagnone di Marsala (Mothia), the Saline and the city of Trapani, Erice (all about a 60 minute drive) The city is well connected to Palermo's Falcone Borsellino and Trapani Birgi airports, both within an hour's drive.

Carinissima casa di recente ristrutturazione , situata a Valderice, paese ai piedi di Erice,zona molto tranquilla e ben ventilata. L'appartamento é molto fresco in quanto le mura della zona sottostante sono fatte in pietra che tiene fresco in estate e da tepore in inverno, la cucina in muratura é ben attrezzata, due bagni uno per ogni camera. The accommodation is located between the streets adjacent to the historic center. It is a newly renovated building, bright, comfortable and well furnished. Entering through the large glass door will welcome you a bright living room furnished with table, chairs, TV and sofa bed. From there you can access the kitchen, equipped with appliances and crockery. The house has a nice bathroom with shower and two double bedrooms, each of which is equipped with air conditioning .
