The tour starts at the middle of the afternoon at the pier in Urca near to Bar urca. We will sail by the Fortress of São João, Fortress Laje and Fortress Santa Cruz, and close to the Island of Boa Viagem in Niterói. There will be one stop point at Adão e Eva beach or Praia Vermelha, perfect for picture taking and if you are interested to swim! Then we will pass by the Museum of Contemporary Art and sail back with the amazing view of the sunset on the horizon. There are gorgeous views of Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer throughout the ride, as they are central to the scenery of Rio's coast. The tour finishes after the sunset to make the most of this amazing view of the city. Other things to note You must bring your camera, sunscreen, swimsuit and flip flops.

You will get the opportunity to create your own ceramic piece (for example a mug, cup or bowl) using hand building techniques. We will start with a bit of theory where I'll explain the different types of clay, building, decoration and firing most commonly used in pottery. Next it's time to get your hands dirty and, with my guidance and help, make your own pot. Note that if you want your item to be finished the whole process of drying, glazing and firing usually takes about 2 months. Once your pot is ready I will get in touch for you to pick it up or I can ship it to you (shipping fees apply). However the duration of 03 hours does not change as some new stops have been added (Jul/2023)*** It is in the neighborhood of Varadouro that the tour begins. We will meet at Barrio Café, from where we will start our walk through the historic site declared, in 1982, by UNESCO, as a Historical and Cultural Heritage of Humanity. For about 03 hours you will discover the winding streets of colorful houses and wonderful views over the treetops, church towers and red roofs of one of the most preserved and beautiful colonial cities in Brazil. And I'm definitely going to talk about our centenary Carnival, one of the best in Brazil and on the slopes of Olinda.
