Ready to eat, drink, and get cultured TJ style?! In general the itinerary is going to look like this. Meet outside Nelson Hotel near the iconic Tijuana Arch. From there we'll be walking a loop. We will visit my favorite brewery, get the best most unexpected view in TJ, participants younger than 18 yrs old are welcome to have a non-alcoholic drink, then we'll go have the best tacos downtown Tj, some of the best in the whole city, walk around, maybe visit a hip new restaurant for apps (and possibly a craft cocktail), stop in at an artist collective, pop into Caesars for the 'original' salad, swing into a local market with different chiles and Mexican goodies, grab a mezcal or tequila at a historic bar and maybe a Mexican candy for desert : ) I will likely end the tour at the Tijuana History Museum at which point you can decide if you want to explore it on your own. All food, drink, and activity decisions/expenses are up to you so please remember to bring pesos or American dollars. P.S. El Taller de Ilustración botánica es una actividad para todas las edades, puedes asistir con toda tu familia, tu pareja o amistades para convivir y aprender en comunidad. En caso de ser un grupo de más de 6 personas nos podemos extender un lapso de tiempo, para asegurar que todos avancen en su representación pictórica. El evento tiene un horario marcado, pero la hora se puede adecuar a tu tiempo libre, envía un mensaje para ver la disponibilidad en el horario. Los participantes pueden traer sus modelos orgánicos para los ejercicios, así como sus botanas y bebidas. Mediante la observación y contemplación de modelos reales de flores y plantas se busca la representación detallada, se estudiarán las partes de la flor y se realizarán ejercicios de mezclas de color, texturas y utilización de luces y sombras para lograr el realismo deseado en cada ilustración. El ejercicio de ilustrar a mano un ser vivo que se encuentra frente a nosotros nos permite darnos el tiempo de observar sus detalles sin prisas, de contemplar su forma y de reflexionar en un momento inmediato sobre la naturaleza de su existencia.

We will put our culinary talents into practice with their own hands making the food that we will cook a complete meal of the experience within our home, with three recipes from the house, we will cook together, we will have at our disposal the ingredients of each of the dishes already prepared only so that they can assemble the dishes knowing each of the steps and their total preparation, 1. Preparation of the Venezuelan empanada 2. We will prepare the Romano Carbonara style pasta from scratch and finally 3. We will make our own homemade Arepa with fresh ingredients from the region. At the end of the day they will know basic secrets of our Mexican Venezuelan cuisine and thus be able to take home a recipe to share with family and friends on any special occasion.

A market where you can find your "treasures": Music records, cd's, books, framed pictures, antiques, weird things, etc. I will pick you up at the agreed place and from there I will take you in my 1982 van to the Popular market of "Los Globos". I will guide you as an introduction to the dynamics of this world. Our experience will be 2 hours with intermediates, if you wish to try some food. Encounter the real Ensenda, walking through culture, and going where tourists don't usually visit. We will meet at the "Old House" cafe, where we will observe historical photographs of the city origins. Then we will walk by primera and ryerson street discussing various landmarks. We will arrive at the local fish market where will talk about the local economy and gastronomical culture. We will continue by the Pier, arrive at Flag Square in route to Old Riviera Hotel (now a convention center and landmark). There we will talk about Baja's rich history and colonial origins, and also have a conversation about its flora and fauna. Afterwards, we will make a visit to Ensenada's Center for arts and observe the gallery made by local artists. We will head back to primera street and end the tour at Cantina Hussong. This is a walking tour done at one's own pace. A general colorful description of the city history and culture will be given, alongside great recommendations of activities to do while here. Fill your bucket list item “Ride Horses on the Beach!” with Desert Trails. Our beautiful, 5 mile long white sandy beach is the perfect place for horseback riding. You will have unobstructed views from horseback of the Ensenada bay, the local hills and the nearby mountains. Baja is beautiful year round and there is really no better place for riding horses on the beach. This is not a boring ‘nose-to-tail’ ride. You will have your own horse and be able to ride freely on the beach. If you are coming into Ensenada on a cruise ship we can pick you up as you get off the ship, and drive your group to our ranch and return you to Ensenada after the ride.
