Luxury sized tiny house just 20 mins outside out Taupō! Beautiful peaceful rural setting with fantastic night star views around the brazier and alfresco dining. Pets welcome by arrangement.
The space
The Airbnb is a deluxe sized tiny house cottage situated on a small orchard. You will find the tiny house down the end of a tree lined driveway with your own separate drive and parking area for guests. You will have the use of the paddock that the house is located in which will be surrounded by sunflowers from late January to mid March. There is space for picnics under the trees and star gazing at night (there is very little light pollution). Snuggly warm with heat pump and electric blankets and a covered outdoor seating area.
Other things to note
We are located on the IronMan bike route so if you stay with us during this time, we will provide you with residents passes (the route passes the top of the road). We are ten minutes from the Taupo Motorsport park - home to the Taupo Super Cars, 10 minutes from the National Equestrian Centre, 20 minutes from Taupo town and 50 minutes from Rotorua. Centrally located but within a secluded, rural location.

Paul and I have previously hosted an Airbnb on this property - but we have demolished and rebuilt on the land and now have a deluxe sized tiny house available for guests. We have a small orchard with approximately 400 hazelnut trees, and in 2024 we planted the front 2 paddocks in sunflowers - the tiny house is located on the edge. We have hundred of mature trees providing a secluded rural experience. We look forward to hosting you!
