The space
Welcome to Seaglass Beach House.
Your luxury coastal retreat in Christchurch's Southshore, where uninterrupted ocean views and private beach access create the perfect escape. Perched above the sand dunes, this spacious beach house offers the serenity of coastal living with city convenience.
The Space
Two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with a super-king bed and private ensuite, accommodate up to 4 guests. The east-facing Ocean Room welcomes the morning with soft sunrise light and the gentle rhythm of the ocean, while the west-facing Green Room looks out over a lush canopy of trees, filled with native birdsong and bathed in warm, golden sunsets.
The open-plan living area is drenched in natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, offering sweeping Pacific views. Slide open the giant doors, settle into a swivel chair with your favorite drink, and let the gentle sea breeze revive you. An 88-inch smart TV with Apple TV provides entertainment, and a USB port lets you easily access your own content.
The fully equipped kitchen invites culinary adventures, while the sunny deck with loungers and coffee table extends your living space outdoors. We keep décor minimal and clutter-free so you can truly make it your own.

- Rinse off after a beach day at the outdoor foot-washing station with a refreshing cold-water shower.

Access
Self check-in is available via a digital keypad, with a unique code sent before arrival. A short video guide is available on our website (link will be provided) to help you with the process. The home has a private entrance and is monitored by 2 outdoor security cameras for your peace of mind. Access to the main living area is via one flight of stairs from the entrance level, which also includes a laundry room and office space.

Important Toilet & Plumbing Guidelines
Our home uses a pressure sewerage system with a macerator (similar to a garbage disposal) that grinds waste before pumping it through narrow pipes. This system requires careful use to function properly.
Please flush only:
Human waste
Toilet paper
NEVER FLUSH:
Wipes (including "flushable" wipes)
Hygiene products (pads, tampons, etc.)
Cotton balls or swabs
Paper towels or tissues
Any other items
A waste basket is provided beside each toilet for proper disposal of these items.
Flushing inappropriate items can cause blockages requiring expensive emergency repairs. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the system.
