Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
A seaside bach with a Kiwiana vibe in a private corner of our unique harbourside home. All the advantages of a stay in nature with the comfort of nice beds, linen & stylish bathroom.

There is a beach at the boundary only 20 meters away via our rambling path in a native bush setting. 180 steps down to the beach.

The recently renovated suite has excellent indoor-outdoor flow and links to a charming orchard.

The space
Inside the bach consists of three spacious rooms: a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room with a kitchenette for food prep ready for the outdoor kitchen. A king single bed with a roll out single can be screened off in the living room.
BBQ in the outdoor kitchen where you will find a range of cooking utensils, pots, pans and BBQ grill all under the bach's covered verandah. The bach also has its own small hot water cylinder.

Guest access
Enjoy the exclusive use of Salt Haven's guest suite, including the patio and outdoor kitchen. The orchard at your doorstep and the path to the beach are also at your disposal. However, the upper garden and main house are off-limits. The onsite parking and driveway link to the suite with good lighting and level access. Feel free to come and go at any time, but please be mindful of noise levels at night.

*The beach is an unpatrolled public beach. *Reef shoes recommended. The best swimming is within 2 hrs of high tide.
*No daily maid service. Linen change and cleaning by negotiation.
*We provide 4 X coffee capsules, tea, coffee and milk. Also, some cooking basics.
*Help yourself to the citrus. Mandarins are ready at the end Feb - April, Navel oranges from June to October, Lemons from June to November.

I live with my family in our harbour side home that we share with our guests. We enjoy the native forest and foreshore that surrounds our property. We aim to create a private nature preserve that is a haven for exotic and native flora and fauna. Great for bird watching!
