The space
Perched on a hillside surrounded by beautiful native bush, Charlotte's Cottage has magical views off the main deck out over the Hauraki Gulf to Pakihi, Ponui and Waiheke Islands. This cute and newly renovated 1950s Kiwi bach is haven for birdlife with an abundance of Tui, Wood Pigeon, Fantails and a few Weka still remain.
Only a very short walk to the safe beach, and its also a perfect haven for kayaking, boating, fishing, cycling or a serene coastal walk.
The property is very clean and tidy, fully equipped, and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests. Perfect for couples, friends, or small families.
On the top level is an open plan kitchen - dining - lounge area opening onto a deck with lovely sea views. There is a self contained small bathroom on this level and the master bedroom with doors opening onto the main deck.
Wake up to sea views from the master bedroom and enjoy relaxing in a sun lounger tucked away and sheltered from the wind.
The lower entrance level has a large room with 2 x single beds and an adjoining room with a queen bed. There is a separate bathroom and stand alone toilet on the lower level and also access to a laundry room with a washing machine if required.
There is an exterior lockable shed to store bikes if required.
Enjoy a casual walk to Waiti Bay to enjoy a swim or a 25 minute walk to the unspoiled 1.4km stretch of sand known as Tawhitokino (mentioned in NZ Good Beach Guide).

There will be a key left outside the property for you to access entry.
Other things to note
There are steps from the road up to the main entrance and the property is two levels.
There is no town water supply. Water is supplied from rainwater collection, therefore conservation of water is needed.
The BBQ is available for use but is the responsibility of the user to clean - if this is not cleaned a $50 cleaning fee will apply.
Due to the remote location there is a security camera on the exterior of the home provide a recording of people coming and going.
Getting around
Guests really need there own transport as getting Taxis is hard and take a long time - there is parking as mentioned.
