Bartlett St is a residential street by Hagley Park with easy access to Airport and walking distance to Central Christchurch and Riccarton. Shop, eat, relax, see the sights of Chch. Hagley Park is the city park containing Botanic Gardens, golf course and numerous walks/cycle paths.

The space
The house is a modern two storey executive townhouse, tastefully furnished throughout. This inviting and well equipped house features a bright, open-plan kitchen / living / dining area with good indoor/outdoor flow which is superb for escaping from the hubbub of the city.
The kitchen is fully equipped - assuming that you can resist the numerous local restaurants (within easy walking distance). On warm summer evenings you can relax on the deck or have a BBQ in the garden.

The three bedrooms are upstairs:-

* The main bedroom (queen bed) has a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite
* The second bedroom has a queen bed and comfortable single sofa bed
* There is a single bed in the third bedroom (plus single sofa bed)
* Landing has a study desk.

The main bathroom with shower over bath is on this floor.
There is air conditioning (heat pump) downstairs and in the master bedroom with heaters/fans in the other bedrooms.
Parking is available either on-street or in the garage which is accessible from the house. The garage also has clothes washing/drying/ironing facilities.

We have had very positive feedback from both holidaymakers and business people and most of our bookings are from repeat guests.

Council consent prohibits use of outdoor areas at night and has noise limitations. No parties are allowed.

Price is based on number of guests so please enter the correct numbers and let us know beforehand if your numbers increase.

Please let us know in advance if you require sofa beds or portacot and we will set these up for you. If you make a last minute booking and need any extra beds/travel cot, linen will be provided but you may have to make up bed yourself.
Prices are based on a cleaning fee covering 4 hours. Any extra time will be charged (see house rules).

Please note that furniture and accessories may differ from photos as we constanty update the house.

Whatever your reason for coming to Christchurch, Bartlett By The Park is a welcoming house in a fantastic location.
* There are lots of restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity so take your pick for a coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner
* You can stroll or cycle through magnificent Hagley Park and visit the art gallery, museum and catch the tourist tram
* Hagley park is home to the botanic gardens, golf, cricket and kids playground.
* 10 minutes walk will take you to central Riccarton with a large (Westfield)shopping mall, cinemas and restaurants (to suit every pocket and taste)
* If you are lucky enough to be here on a Saturday head for Riccarton Bush Farmers Market for foodie treats.
* It is a short 15 minute drive to the Airport (domestic, international, Antarctic Centre)
* If Skiing is your thing, a 90-minute drive will get you there
* The fabulously picturesque town of Akaroa and the thermal resort of Hanmer Springs are both in easy reach for a day trip

It should be noted that Bartlett Street is a quiet street and we ask all our guests to respect our neighbours.
